Bhanmatti (Bea) Adams, lovingly known as Golie, was born Bhanmatti Bhola at Eversham Village, Corentyne, Berbice, Guyana, on November 7, 1944 to the late Mohabir Bhola (Kaisa), and the late Irene Bhola (Vange).

On the evening of Friday, July 20, 2018, she passed away quietly with her loving family at her bedside, at Presbyterian Hospital. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, and her loving brother, Archibald (Rudy) Khargie of Orlando, Fl. She is survived by her six children: Elroy Adams, of Hartford, CT; Elizabeth McClain (Dwyatt) of Matthews, NC; Chrryl Adams, James Adams (Katrina), Scharmella Adams, and Henry Adams, JR, all of Charlotte, NC; 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; six sisters: Padmowtie (Bay) Khargie of Hollywood, Fl, Rajdevi (Esther) Jones, Indrani (Olive) Haynes (Philbert), Patsy Bhola, Awarkli (Lotsy) Kendall, and Chandraoti (Chano) Balbachan, all of Hartford, CT; numerous nieces, and nephews; and a host of cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 28th, at Nations Ford Community Church, 5901 Nations Ford Road. Burial will be in Yorkmont Memorial Park.

Viewing will be at Serenity Church, 4220 Stacey Blvd, Friday, July 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and at the church one hour prior to the service.
