CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA for Mr. Gilbert Handy, 82, who entered eternal rest on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Kaplan Healthcare Center in Kaplan, LA. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley, LA.

Father Mark will be officiating the funeral mass.

Mr. Handy’s memories are being cherished by: his wife, Melvina Handy of Crowley, LA; one brother, Abraham Handy of Houston, TX; two sisters, Annie Marie Handy pf Houston, TX and Delores Marie Handy of Crowley, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Handy is preceded in death by: his parents, Robert and Virginia Handy; four brothers, Archie Handy, Martin Handy, William Handy and Joseph Carlton Handy; and four sisters, Eula Handy Bailey, Dorothy Handy Vallieo, Henrietta Handy Wilson and Gertrude Handy.

There will be NO REPASS.
