Garry Bernard Harris, 62, of Forest City, NC, passed away November 24, 2024. Born May 12, 1962, to Larry and Margie Phillips in Rutherford County, NC, Garry graduated from Chase High School and served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Phillips; his mother, Margie Phillips; and his sister, Tanginette Phillips.

Garry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Annie Harris; his three sons,
Rocky Williams (Jayme) of Shelby, NC; Deavon Harris of Forest City, NC. And Jamar Harris of Charlotte, NC.
his two brothers, James Harris (Elaine) of Fredericksburg, VA, and Larry Phillips of Mooresboro, NC; two grandchildren, Teigan and Severide; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Garry was passionate about spending time with family and friends, enjoying life, and was an avid fan of soul and funk music.
He was also a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan.
