MR. SEAN WHITECOTTON - AGE 45 - Of Brooklyn, New York and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at his residence. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and was employed with the State of New York as a Counselor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Yvonne Whitecotton Keys and one brother, Mr. Aaron Cooper.His family who survive him are: father, Mr. Mitchell (Carolyn) Cooper of Dalton, Georgia; three sisters, Attorney Stephanie (Kelly) Wilson III of Mendham, New Jersey; Ms. Davetta Keys of Rocky Face, Georgia; and Missionary Bridgett Hill of Dalton; one brother, Minister Gregg (Deserie) Cooper of Virginia Beach, Virginia; aunts, Mrs. Marva Sprowl of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Missionary Joyce Ann Cooper, Missionary Wanda Cooper and Pastor Melanie (Rev. Robert) Prather and Mrs. Renee Bowie of Dalton; nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.Funeral service will be held Friday, September 23, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Weaver and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment, West Hill cemetery.
