Funeral service for Brady Spivey, 68, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Elder James Q. Smith will officiate.

Mr. Spivey, who passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama, was born December 18, 1955, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: three children, Christopher (Jill) Spivey of Alexandria, VA, Mahogany Lewis and Valencia (Forranta) Floyd both of Opelika, AL; three grandchildren, Arequavious Griffin, Markhia Jenkins and Zora Spivey; one sister, Peggy Barnett of Opelika, AL; one brother, Ronald Spivey (Selma Billingslea) of Opelika, AL; two aunts, Josephine Williams of Opelika, AL and Lavonia Ogletree of South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Belinda Spivey of Opelika, AL; two devoted friends, Kelvin Walton and Leon Evans both of Opelika, AL; fur baby, “Chico”; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
