Jeremy Lashun Meadows

Jeremy Lashun Meadows, a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Jeremy was born on Tuesday, October 6, 1998, in Alexander City, Alabama. He brightened the lives of those around him with his vibrant spirit and infectious smile. A proud resident of Talladega, Jeremy was a cherished member of the community and will be fondly remembered for his kind heart and joyous laughter.

Jeremy is survived by his devoted mother, Jacqueline Meadows Cook and his caring stepfather, Steven Cook, both of Talladega, AL. He leaves behind his brothers, Justin Cook of Talladega, AL and Julian (Key) Ashley of Tallahassee, FL; his sisters, Jakeviyana Hardnett of LaFayette, AL and Tameka Ashley and Sakethia (Tony) Dobbins of Talladega, AL. Jeremy is also mourned by his grandmother, Doris Meadows of Daviston, AL and his grandfather, Claude (Gail) Meadows of Goodwater, AL. He will be deeply missed by his uncles, Jeffery Meadows of Kansas, Joe Hardnett, Kevin Turner and Terrance Laney of LaFayette, AL; his aunt, Nicole Woody of LaFayette, AL, and great aunts, Katherine Walls of Roanoke, AL, Lois Walls and Edith Buchanan of Daviston, AL, and Bernice Whetstone of Alexander City, AL, hold him dearly in their hearts; his great uncle, Jerome Walls of Daviston, AL, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and special friends including Jecoyous Chapman, Darrius Herring, Denise Long, Devin Garrett, Chris Williams, and Chris Waites, will remember Jeremy as a loyal and caring friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Hardnett; his grandmother, Sallie Mae Woody Hardnett; and his grandfather, J. T. Hardnett.

Jeremy found joy in playing basketball, engaging in video games, and socializing with his friends and family. He was dedicated to his work at Little Caesar's, where he served as a laborer, leaving a lasting impression on his colleagues and customers alike.

In this time of mourning, may Jeremy's spirit continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration for all.
