Obituary For Harvey Adams

MR. HARVEY EUGENE ADAMS ?Çô Of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 05, 2012. He first acknowledged Christ at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ringgold, Georgia, (Burning Bush Community) where he later became a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Mose and Mrs. Flora Adams, four sisters, and seven brothers.He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife, Mrs. Helen Adamson Adams of fifty golden years; four devoted daughters were born to this union, Ms. Sharon Adams of Ringgold, Georgia, Mrs. Vanessa Adams (Brian) Keith of Snellville, Georgia, Mrs. Valeria Adams (Eric) Coney, and Mrs. Rhonda Adams (Dave) Sixto of Ringgold. Harvey was affectionately called ?Ç£Pop?ÇØ by his daughters. He is also survived by nine grandchildren who adored him and will miss him dearly, Briana, Mikaela, Jessica Keith, Morissa, Richmond, and Jevon Coney, Nadia, Ezra, and Levi Sixto, plus his grand-dog, Ginger, who always wanted to be by his side. Sisters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Smith, Mrs. Lula M. Wheeler, both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brothers, Mr. Mose Charles (Mary Ella) Adams of Ringgold, Mr. Walter Leroy (Eva) Adams of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and friends.Funeral Services will be Sunday, January 8, 2012 at First Baptist Church, 7611 Nashville Street, Ringgold, GA. At 1:00 p. m. with Minister Shirley Adamson Joiner and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 ?Çô 6:00 p. m.
