MR. OSCAR EUGENE ANDERSON - AGE 52, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and served on the Deacon Board, Usher Board, and Trustee Board. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Esco Anderson, Sr., and sister, Ms. Elizabeth Anderson.Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Gloria Jean Anderson; mother, Mrs. Julia Dukes Anderson of Albany, Georgia; son, Mr. Thomas White of Chattanooga, Tennessee, stepson, Mr. Kenny King; brother and sisters, Minister Julia A. Wofford of Dalton, Georgia, Mrs. Ethel (Lewis) Williams, Mrs. Olivia A. Williams, Mr. Esco Anderson, Jr., of Albany, Mrs. Philbert A. Leonard of New Jersey, and Ms. Deborah Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren; devoted niece, Ms. Kim Jones, devoted grand niece, Ms. Jada Griffin of Dalton, devoted cousin, State Representative Winfred Dukes of Albany; two devoted friends, Mr. Chris Gregg and Ms. Shundra Mosley; other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Family and friends will celebrate the life of Mr. Oscar Eugene Anderson on Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Charles McAfee and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state on Monday after 11:00 a. m. at the funeral home until the funeral hour. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
