Marva Jo Collins, 74, a native of Beaufort County and resident of New Bern, NC passed December 5, 2024 at ECU Medical Center, Greenville, NC.

There will not be a viewing at the funeral home and no live streaming of the funeral.

Her funeral is 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the New Bern Eastern M.B. Association Headquarters, 885 Hwy. 306 North, Grantsboro. Interment will follow in the Small Chapel Church Cemetery, Arapahoe.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert “Bob” Collins of the home; son, Denodrick Collins, New Bern, NC; daughter Camiko “Meka” Credle, Concord, NC; sisters, Nettie Brown, Concord, NC, Sandra Self, Charlotte, NC and Carli McGuire, Concord, NC; brother Darrell Woody, San Antonio, TX and four grandchildren.
