REV. JAMES EMORY ?Ç£SMILEY?ÇØ HOWELL ?Çô AGE 79, - Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Sunday evening, March 11, 2012 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. He was a member of First Corinth Christian Church, a Veteran of The U. S. Army, and retired from The City of Calhoun.Survivors are his loving wife of Fifty- One years, Mrs. Avinell Higginbotham Howell, two sons, Mr. Michael Howell of Calhoun, Georgia and Mr. LaDale (Lorna) Howell of Dalton, Georgia; four grandchildren, Desmond Howell, Dacia Howell, Dalemonte Howell, and Aaron Talley; one great grandchild, Kamdyn Howell; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, devoted cousins, Nicole and Acie Campbell, III, other cousins, relatives, and friends.Funeral service for Rev. James Emory Howell will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. from First Corinth Christian Church located at 728 Court Street, Calhoun, Georgia 30701 with Rev. Johnny Howell and Pastor James D. Harris officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home after 11:00 A.M. on Thursday. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the church from 6:00 P.M. ?Çô 8:00 P.M. Interment, Georgia National Cemetery on Friday, at 2:00 P.M. with Full Military Honors.
