MR. THOMAS J. MCDANIEL, JR.?Çô AGE 81, - Of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Our Country Home Hospice in Lafayette, Georgia. He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service and U. S. Army. He was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church.Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Wiggins McDaniel, of Summerville; one son, Mr. Jeffrey Thomas (LuWillow) McDaniel, of Franklin, Tennessee; two daughters, Ms. Pamela McDaniel and Ms. Elizabeth McDaniel, of Illinois; one granddaughter, Kristina Burrell of Illinois; five brothers, Mr. Oliver R. McDaniel, of North Carolina, Mr. Bobby (Rebecca) McDaniel of Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Lazaus ( Lorain) McDaniel, of Gonzales, Louisiana, Mr. Alfred (Mary) McDaniel, of Lyerly, Georgia, and Mr. Steve McDaniel, of Gaylesville, Alabama; three sisters, Dorothy Brown of Decatur, Georgia, Eleanor McDaniel, and Patricia Ann Jackson of Massachusetts; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 1:00 P. M. at the Cedar Spring Baptist Church in Lyerly, Georgia, with Pastor James Clark and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
