11/17/1948 - 12/09/2024

Ms. Patsy A. Walls, 76, of Columbus, GA passed on Monday, December 9, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patsy Annette Berry Walls. Patsy made her peaceful transition while surrounded by love and carried that love and precious memories with her.

Memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, January 4, 2024 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Apostle Richard D. Barnette, officiating.

Patsy Annette Berry was born on November 17, 1948, in Cuthbert, Georgia to Weaver Berry, Sr. and Brucine Margaret Barnes Berry. Patsy led a colorful life and would gladly share her life's stories with all who wanted to listen. She was often heard quoting "I can do anything, I was a girl scout." And she was right, there wasn't much she couldn't do, from changing her own oil, to light carpentry work, to making some of the best meals you have ever tasted.

Patsy was a lover of music and was often heard singing or humming a tune. She was also an avid animal lover and gave love to so many fury, feathery and fishy friends over her lifetime. More than those things, she was an artist. Patsy had a knack for drawing and painting and spent hours perfecting her craft, a gift she passed on to several of her children and grandchildren.

Patsy was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family meant the absolute world to her, and she poured love into them in any way she could.

Holidays were filled with love and warmth and every summer her grandchildren looked forward to "Going to Georgia" to spend the summer with Grandma Patsy. She gave love straight from her heart and made a lasting impact on every life she touched.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Weaver Sr. and Brucine; her brothers, Malcolm Berry and Weaver Berry, Jr. and husband, Charles H. Walls, Sr.

Patsy leaves to cherish her memories, six loving children, Antoinette Allen (Darryl), Antoine Berry (Shanice), Andre Allen (Carla), Wardel Allen, Chonita Quille (Michele), Charles Walls, Jr. (Keisha); two sisters, Patricia Hackett and Beverly Berry and a host of beloved grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed but will remain in the hearts and memories of all who love her.

Rest in peace Mommy, your love and light will guide us, keep us warm and give us the strength to carry on. We love you, always. Your Children
