Obituary For Mr. Rufus Vinson

MR. RUFUS VINSON, - Age 78, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Tuesday July 17, 2012, in a local health care center. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a U. S. Air Force Veteran, and retired from Mueller Corporation. Survivors are: his wife, Carolyn Jackson Vinson, of LaFayette, Georgia; three sons, Rick L.(Paula) Marble of Atlanta, Georgia, Jeffery (Nicole) Vinson of Spring Hill, TN., and Dana (Greta) Vinson of LaFayette; one daughter, Leslie Kay Vinson of Chattanooga, TN; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers, Nelson (Brenda) Lott, Jackson (Geraldine) Lott of Flint, Michigan, and Lee Floyd (Angela) Lots of Hammond, Indiana; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.The funeral service will be held Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia, with Pastor Rheubin Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
