Obituary For Mrs. Deborah June Clark Lay

MRS. DEBORAH JUNE CLARK LAY- made her transition form her earthly home to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Clifford and Mrs. Maudell Clark.Survivors are her husband, Norman L. Lay, Sr.; daughter, Nicole (Richard) Horton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; son, Norman (Chantay) Lay, Jr. of Dalton, Georgia; stepson, Fredrick Davis of Calhoun, Georgia; four grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Ann Clark of Jamaica, New York, Billie Clark of Kensington, Georgia, Mary Ballanger of Chattanooga, and Sharon (Michael) Mathis of Chickamauga, Georgia; three brothers, Robert (Alene) Careathers of LaFayette, Clifford Clark, Jr. of Kensington, and James (Vickie) Clark of Summerville, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2:00 P. M. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor William Tramble and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
