Cheri White

Passed 11/15/2024

Cheri L. White, the daughter of the late Mary Willing, was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

During high school Cheri met her one and only, fell in love and then married James Randolph White. To that union three sons were born: James R., William D. and Timothy F. Cheri’s greatest joy came from being a supportive and most loving grandmom to Brianna, Jalisa, Victoria, Cherita, Serenity and Teegan.

After accepting the Lord in her life, Cheri was invited to Cornerstone Baptist Church by her son, William. There she found her forever spiritual home and family. On June 27, 2010, she was baptized. She has been a faithful member ever since.

Cheri was very involved in her sons’ lives. Being a stay-at-home mom, she was their coach/cheerleader for all the sports. Later in life Cheri entered the workforce with a long work history from PMA Insurance to PA Central Blood Bank until the Lord called her home.

She was the closest to peace and the Lord at the beach. It was her favorite place to be. Cheri loved the Lord and she loved people. She was loved by anyone who met her. However, no one loved her more than the Lord; therefore, He saw fit on Friday November 15, 2024, to call her home to be with Him.

Cheri was preceded in death by her husband, James and sister, Mable Warble. Cheri leaves to celebrate her life her children, James (Lisa) White of FL, William White of PA and Timothy White of PA; six grandchildren, Brianna (Falesha) Delgado of PA, Jalisa White of TX, Victoria White of PA, Cherita White of FL, Serenity and Teegan White of PA; in-laws, Lois Adams of PA, Rondale White of GA, Genise White of VA, Robert White of PA, Robert Warble of PA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The Ocean Conservatory (www.oceanconservancy.org) or the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank (www.cpbb.org).

Cheri's life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in the Sanctuary of her church, Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1099 Highspire Road, Harrisburg.
