Joseph "Team Leader Joe" Williams

Passed 11/27/2024

Joseph “Team Leader Joe” Williams gained his wings on November 27, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1988, in Charleston, SC to the late Benjamin Williams, Sr. and Linda Faye Williams. He was a member of Assembly of Praise and Worship; Mac Davis is Pastor. Joe was a 2007 graduate of Thomas County Central high school in Thomasville, Ga where he played football for the TCCHS Yellow Jackets, joined the Young Life youth group, and made a host of friends.

After graduating high school Joseph completed some college at Valdosta State University but was quickly thrust into his true calling of entrepreneurship when he and his older brother Benjamin Williams, Jr. formed the group “Country Crew.” Supported by family and close friends they not only left a mark on the rap community but activated a desire to impact lives and make a difference in the world around them.

In later years, Joseph formed several businesses in various niches including Transportation, Real Estate, Consulting, and Marketing. Through hard work and constant evolution, Joseph fulfilled his greatest purpose in life by helping and empowering as many people as he could, paving the way for them to become business owners and entrepreneurs as well.

An encouraging spirit, deliverer of kind words, showing thoughtfulness, and being willing to “give free game” are just a few ways that others describe Joe. His personality brightened up any room and his laughter were surely contagious. So much was accomplished by Joseph in such a short time that his work will never be forgotten; touching lives in such a way that he will always be remembered.
