MRS. MINNIE STEWART WILLIS ?Çô AGE 101, - Of Atlanta, Georgia and formerly of Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in Atlanta. She was a member of Hemphill A. M. E. Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Stewart Jones and Mrs. Minnie Freeman Jones, five brothers, three sisters, and daugter, Wiley Ruth Coates Sharp.Survivors are her granddaughter, Denise Renfroe of Atlanta, Georgia; grandson, James M. Sharp, Jr. of Detroit, Michagan; great grandchildren, April L. Nichols and India (Albritton) Terrence of Atlanta; Angela Sharp Isom and Myron Watkins of Toledo, Ohio; TiAnn Sharp and Greg Triplett of Detroit; and Nona Danielle of Mt. Clemons, Michagan; thirteen great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, oldest living nephew, Noah Jones, and oldest living Niece, Ethel Mae Parks both of Atlanta; other relatives, and friends.Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 12:00 Noon from Shaw Temple A. M. E. Zion CHurch 775 Hurt Rd. S. W. Smyrna, Georgia with Rev. Wayne B. Murdock and Dr. George D. Crenshaw, Sr. officiating. The family will recieve friends at the church one hour before the service. Graveside Service will be held Thursday, August9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Sumerville Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
