Obituary For Rev. Frances Louise Rivers Ramsey

REV. FRANCES LOUISE RIVERS RAMSEY- Age 93, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Edward Jimmie Ramsey and daughter, Mrs. Lillian Gaston. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and retired from the Whitfield County Health Department after 29 years of service.Survivors are her loving family, daughter, Mrs. Jimmie L. (Herman) Luckey of Chatsworth, Georgia; two sons, Mr. Raymond (Lillie) Bonds of Dalton, Georgia; and Mr. Earl (Valencia) Ramsey of Lithonia, Georgia; a foster son, Mr. Stanley Moreland of Kennesaw, Georgia; sister, Mrs. Mary Betton of Dalton; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mrs. Eva Lou Rivers of Dalton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She will be loved and missed dearly by everyone.Home Going Service will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. from Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Weaver, Eulogist, Pastor Dr. Charles McAfee, Rev. Jerry L. Burse, and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state on Monday after 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home until the funeral hour. Interment: West Hill Cemetery.
