Obituary For Leonard Avery, Jr.

MR. LEONARD AVERY, JR. ?Çô Of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012. He was retired from Mount Vernon Mills and was a member of West Fifth Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Linton Avery and Mrs. Leila Stewart Avery, sister, Mrs. Mattie Belle Avery Pollard, Jr., and four brothers, Misters C. L. Avery, Sr., Herbert Avery, Charles Avery, and Willie B. Avery.Survivors are his wife of fifty-four years, Mrs. Arbie Mostiller Avery of Summerville, Georgia; three children, Mr. Leonard (Tracy) Avery of Austell, Georgia, Mr. Dale (Heather) Avery of Summerville, and Mrs. Gale (Chris) McClarty of Rome, Georgia; special aunt, Mrs. Lillie Mae Stewart of LaFayette, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Voncil Coleman of Chattanooga, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Funeral Services will be Friday, September 21, 2012 at 2:00 p. m. at the West Fifth Street Church of Christ with Brother John Lewis and other ministers officiating.
