It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of Mr. Calvin "Hawk" McSwain, a legendary figure in our community. Born on April 24, 1951, Mr. McSwain was a beloved DJ, affectionately known as "The Hawk," who shared his passion for music with countless fans.

The Hawk's Final Flight A hawk soars high, on wings of might, Free and unencumbered, in the morning light. With eyes that pierce, and a spirit bold, He rides the wind, his story to be told. But now, his final flight, he spreads his wings, And rises high, on the winds that bring, Him to his eternal rest, where love and peace entwine, And the music of the heavens, forever will be his. So let us remember, the hawk's courageous cry, As he soared through life, touching hearts and touching the sky. And though his flight has ended, his legacy remains, A testament to the power, of a life that loved and lived in vain.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the Our Daily Bread Ministries, Inc.
