MR. JAMES THOMAS ?Çô AGE 71, - Of Sonoraville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Gordon Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Gertrude Gipson Thomas, sister, Barbara Jean Tippett, one son, James Bell.Survivors are his two children, LaTanaya Thomas-Pores of Southfield, Michigan, Altheia Armstrong of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; dear friend, Deborah Hogan-Richardson of Calhoun, Georgia; sisters, Ruby (David) Greene of Piscataway, New Jersey, Leola Jones of Louisburg, North Carolina, Dorothy Moore of Detroit, Michigan; brother, Raymond Thomas of Orangeburg, South Carolina; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Willie (Imogene) Adams; other relatives, and friends.Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 2:00 p. m. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Zackery Washington officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p. m. until the funeral hour.
