MS. BRENDA ANNETTE STOKES ?Çô AGE 64, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father Edward Lee Bowie.Survivors are her son, Marvin Maynard Stokes of Atlanta, Georgia; mother, Ester Kate Maynard; three sisters, Carol Cannon, Judy Alford, and Barbara (Kenneth) Willis all of Dalton; special friends, Carolyn (Mitchell) Cooper; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Funeral Service will be Monday, November 12, 2012 at 1:00 P. M. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry L. Burse and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state one hour before the service until the funeral hour.
