Mr. Ronnie Wayne Day, 76, of Elizabethtown passed away on Saturday, December 14 at Radcliff Veterans Center.

Ronnie was born in Trenton, KY on June 30, 1948, to Henry and Molly Green Day. He retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of MSG; he loved music, enjoyed fishing and lawn care.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Lawrence, Hugh, Jesse, Henry Jr. Day and Roy Dickinson; four sisters, Sue Simmons, Frances Tunnell, Carol Dickinson and Aska Mae Day.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 34 years Velma; son Everette Day of Huntsville, AL; daughters Tammi (Kenneth) Moreland of Killen, TX, Tara Day of Elizabethtown, KY; four grandchildren Shamieka, Andre, Little Everette and Kiki; brother James Dickinson; a special nephew Thomas (Wilma) Day; along with a host of relatives and friends.

Homegoing Service will be held Noon Saturday, December 21, First Baptist Church, located at 107 Bishop Lane, Elizabethtown, KY with Rev. Roderick Jones, Officiating.

Burial Monday, December 23 at 12:30 Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd, Radcliff KY.

Visitation after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
