MR. LAFAYETTE AUSTIN - AGE 68, - Of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Murray Medical Center. He was a member of Baptist faith. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Mr. Jessie Austin, Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Barrett Austin, two sisters, Clara Bell Tibbs and Esther Kate Newkirk, four brothers, Jessie Jr., Floyd, William Fred, and Travis Austin.Survivors are three sisters, JoAnn Robbs, Willie Pearl (Bobby Joe) Knox of Dalton, Georgia; Mary Nell Johnson of Levittown, Pennsylvania; nieces, Sheenequa (Fredrick) Evans of Chatsworth, Georgia; nephew, James (Sandra) Tibbs, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Dr. Nicky P. Starling officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Tuesday after 11:00 A.M. until the funerl hour. Interment, Hopewell Cemetery.
