Daisy Kitchens was born on January 2, 1945, in Washington County to the beloved Freddy Kitchen and Hattie Mae Carlyle. Daisy’s vibrant spirit touched many lives, and she will be fondly remembered following her passing on December 15, 2024, at the age of 79.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, Georgia. Interment will be held at New Pine Hill Community Church Cemetery, Francis Bridge Road, Davisboro, GA.

Public viewing will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.

Daisy was a beacon of love and kindness to everyone she encountered. Her compassionate nature and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on those around her. As a valued member of the Little Pine Hill Church, now known as New Community Church of Davisboro, she actively contributed to her community. Daisy was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and sister, embodying the essence of family love. She worked for Lewis Lake until her health began to decline, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment. Daisy's legacy of warmth and positivity continues to inspire those who knew her.

Daisy is lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother Lillie Kitchens, her brother Kenneth “MoPie” Carlyle, a sister, Ernestine Dunn, and her daughter-in-law LaJuana Carlyle.

Daisy's enduring legacy lives on through her daughter Therese (Willie) Williams and her son David Anthony Carlyle. She is also cherished by her sisters Dianne Carlyle and Elnora Jefferson, and her brothers Willie James Roberts, Willie James Carlyle, and Patrick Carlyle. Daisy's aunt, Fannie Carlyle, and uncle, Joe Louis Carlyle, hold her memory close, along with her grandchildren Deairan Dixon, Kiana Dixon, and Kidarian Dixon. Additionally, she is survived by eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including Destiny Carlyle, whom she lovingly regarded as a grandchild.
