Obituary For Vertice Bolds

MS. VERTICE BOLDS - Of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She was a retired teacher from Chattooga County Schools for fifteen years, taught in the Calhoun, Georgia School System, Rome City Schools, and the Arkansas Public Schools. Ms. Bolds was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Early and Mrs. Meadie Westfield Bolds, three brothers, and one sister.Survivors are her loving family, one sister, Charles Regina Bolds Cosby of Kings Park, New York; two brothers, Clyde (Gloria) Bolds of Atlanta, Georgia, James Bolds of Summerville, Georgia; sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Bolds of New Bern, North Carolina; one aunt, Mrs. Bobbie Lander of Texas; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service for Ms. Vertice Bolds will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 a. m. at the Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church, 2577 Georgia Highway 337, Menlo, Georgia with Pastor Robert Barrett as the Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 a. m. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Ami Cemetery.
