MRS. LORENE BETTS MCCLENDON ?Çô Age 83,- Of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 with her daughter and family by her bedside. She was a member of the Baptist faith, retired from North Park Hospital as a C.N.A, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Joann Penny, parents, Rev. Mark and Dora Betts, brothers, Burnam, George, Richard, and Damon Betts, sisters, Fanny Mary Townsend, Ella Marie Killebrew, and Gertha Lee Lewis.Survivors are her loving daughter and son-in-law, Saundra (Eric) Payne; devoted granddaughter, Erica M. Henderson; grandson, Christopher A. (Jewell) Payne; great grandchildren, Mark Harden, Hannah I. Henderson, Tyler E. Henderson, Christopher A. Payne, Jr., Jeremiah M. Payne, Tania Humphrey, all of Chattanooga; beloved sister, Hazel Cunningham of Louisville, KY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Homegoing Service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 1:00 P. M. at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2305 East Third Street in Chattanooga with Rev. Earla Sue Lockhart, Eulogist and Dr. Paul McDaniel, Pastor.
