MR. HERMAN LUCKEY - AGE 82, - Of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Gallagher and Burk Construction, and was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Luckey and Malinda Anthony Luckey, sisters, Baby J. Luckey of Vernon, TX, Clotee Blanton of Pittsburg, CA., Noree Frater of Los Angeles, CA., Ladonie Broadnex of Midland, TX., an Wyvonia Williams of East Palo Alto, CA.He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Jimmie Ramsey Luckey; sons, Derrick (Annette) Luckey, Sr. of Pittsburg, CA, Michael (Cathy) Luckey of Galt, CA; daughter, Cheryl Luckey-Jones of San Francisco, CA; stepson, Kevin (Drusilla) Griffin of Tunnel Hill, GA; twin brother, Sherman Luckey, Sr. of Wichita Falls, Texas; three sisters, Lavatha Luckey of Austin, Texas, Freida Newman of Augusta, Georgia, and Charlie Mae Johnson of Sacramento, California; eight grandchildren, Kia, Marquise, Allyssa, Danielle, Derrick Jr., Alicia, Tiana, and Gabriel; four great grandchildren; aunts, Mary Betton, and Eva Lou Rivers; special daughter and friend, Mary Dillard; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 p. m. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry L. Burse and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 a. m. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
