MR. JAMES WINDELL WIMPY, - AGE 69, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born on June 18, 1944 to the late Ed Lee and Willie Lou Shepard Wimpy and was preceded in death by his nephew, Zachary Newcomb. He was a retired truck driver and carpet mill worker, a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.Survivors are his wife, Annetta Kaye Beck Wimpy; daughter, Kayla Young; two sisters, Peggy Gunn and Donna Wimpy; sisters-in-law, Malinda (Jack) Golden and Rebecca Beck; brother-in-law, Willie (Stephanie) Beck and Richard Beck; three adopted children, Destiny Hall, Marquis Young, and Tatum Williams, all of Dalton, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Graveside Service will be held Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:30 a. m. with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 4:00 - 5:00 p. m. Interment, Chattanooga National Cemetery.
