Obituary For Harriet McDaniel

MRS. HARRIET LOUISE McDaniel - AGE 85, Of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 with her family at her bedside. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, retired from Hutcheson Medical Center, and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry McDaniel, Sr., and son, James McDaniel.Family member that will cherish her memories are her sons, Harry (Lebron) McDaniel and Willie (Barbara) McDaniel, both of Chickamauga; daughters, Glenda Cemons, Veronica (James) Moore of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Mary (Robert) Florence of Rossville, Georgia; sister, Hazel Shelby of Raleigh, North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; forty-five great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Robert Jackson of Chattanooga and William (Brenda) McDaniel of Rex, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Margaret Foster of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Katie Ryan of Chickamauga, Jane (Edward) Blue of Southern Pine, North Carolina, and Anita (Calvin) Ramsey of New York; special friend, Martha Jenkins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 12:00 noon from Friendship Baptist Church, 20 Parrish Road, Chickamauga, Georgia, with Pastor Hugh Byrd and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 P. M. at the church. Interment, Chattanooga National Cemetery.
