MR. JOHN LEE PERKINS- Age 85, - Of Dalton, Georgia formerly of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born on September 10, 1927 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Union #1180 and Prince Lodge Masonic Hall. John Lee Perkins for many years was employed with Susquehanna Laborers and helped build Strawberry Square, Harrisburg Hospital, Poly Clinic Hospital, various State Capitol Buildings ant the Downtown Holiday Inn along with the City Hall and other surrounding areas.Survivors are his wife of sixty-seven years Mary Helen Ervin Perkins, daughter, Patricia (Lee) Bailey, and grandson, Courtney Lee Green of Dalton, Georgia.Mr. John Lee Perkins was cremated with the love of his family on July 26, 2013.
