Obituary For Elbert Rhodes, Jr.

MR. ELBERT "BEAT" RHODES, JR. - Age 66, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born on April 30, 1947 to the late Elbert and Mattie Mae Hill Rhodes, Sr. and was preceded in death by one brother, Larry D. Rhodes. He was employed by G. and C. Rubber.He is survived by his three sisters, Patricia Washington of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, Grace D. Carson, and Brenda Dwight; one brother, Michael Lane Rhodes; stepmother, Minnie Rhodes of Dalton; one uncle, William (Carolyn) Rhodes of Chicago, Illinois; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Bishop Bennie Tibbs and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday Evening from 6:00 P. M. until 7:00 P.
