MR. MARSHALL "BORGIE" ALLGOOD, JR. - AGE 92, - Of Lafayette, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Parkside Nursing Home. He was born on September 14, 1920 and was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Annie Daisy Johnson Allgood, Sr., two sisters, Anna Bell Ponder and Louis Underwood, brothers, Johnny Allgood, William "Billie" Allgood, Tommie Allgood, and Freddie Allgood.Survivors are his brother, Bob Allgood of Lafayette, Georgia; sister, Mildred Ponder of Akron, Ohio; aunt, Frances Stevens of Dalton, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Joyce Allgood, Joanne Allgood, and Jennifer Allgood Salmon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 1:00 p. m. at Happy Home Baptist Church with Pastor Albert Evans and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Lafayette Cemetery.
