MRS. SHIRLEY JEAN HARRISON - AGE 72, - Of Dalton, Georgiapassed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Erlanger Health System. She was born on April 29, 1941 in Calhoun, Georgia, was a member of Greater St. James Overcoming Church of God, was employed by O. J. Mills, and was preceded in death by her father, Grady King, and brother, Bobby King, Sr.She is survived by her husband, Minister Joseph L. Harrison, Sr.; five sons, Alexis W. Harrison, Chirstopher (Ann) King-Harrison, Joseph L. (Lisa) Harrison, Jr., Victor L. (Denise) Harrison, and Virgil L. (Patricia) Harrison; one daughter, Minister Kirissa (George) Waddell; mother, A. Ruth King; sister, Louise Oliver of Odessa, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Florene King of Curryville, Georgia, and Helen Washington of Washington, D. C.; twenty-nine grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.The Service Celebration the Life of Shirley will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Greater St. James Overcoming Church Of God with Dr. Nicky P. Starling officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
