Obituary For Charles Sprowl, Sr.

MR. CHARLES WILLIAM SPROWL, SR. - AGE 91, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his residence. He retired from E and B Carpets, member of the Dalton Masonic Lodge #238, Rome Consistory Lodge #264 Prince Hall, and he was of the Baptist Faith. He was a graduate of Emery Street School, Tuskegee Institute, member of The American Legion Post 112, V. F. W. Recognition Past Georgia Commander-In-Chief Council of Deliberation and The American Society of the French Legion Of Honor, Distinguished Service in the United States Army during the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, France on June 6, 1944.Service will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 2:00 p. m. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Ingram officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home with the Kadosh Service of the Rome Consistory Lodge #264 Prince Hall. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 11:00 a. m. Interment at West Hill Cemetery with full Military Rites.
