MRS. WILLIE PAUL JACKSON SIMPSON, - AGE 82, - Of Dalton, Georgia and formerly of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013. She was born on April 23, 1931 in Adairsville, Georgia to the late James Jackson and Katherine Richardson Carson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Brazele Carson Jackson, sister, Hazel C. Brown, six children, Betty, Bobby, Lee Harlin, Robert, Marvin, and Eugene; two grandchildren, Marie, and Kevin.Survivors are her loving son, James (Hilda) Simpson of Dalton, Georgia; daughter, Gail Carey of Calhoun, Georgia; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Homegoing Service will be Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 1:00 p. m. at Greater St. James Overcoming Church of God with Elder Emory Wright, Eulogist, Dr. Nicky Starling, and Bishop Claud Jones officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home after 11:00 on Monday. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the funeral.
