Obituary For Sherard Marsh

MRS. SHERARD ANN ALLGOOD MARSH- Age 71, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was widow of the late Wylie Winston Marsh, Sr., was a member of New Home Baptist Church, was a retired School Teacher of the Walker County Schools after 25 years, and was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Frank and Mattie Clifton Allgood, Sr., one brother, Willie Frank Allgood, Jr., and two sisters, Jurdie Minnis and Eva Payne. Survivors are her three loving children, India (Ronnie) Shaw of Loganville, Georgia, Winston Marsh, Jr. of LaFayette, and Eursla Marsh of Smyrna, Georgia; stepdaughter, Charlotte Hawkins of Cartersville, Georgia; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Chartis A. Rhodes of Minneapolis; one brother, Cleaophas (Patricia) Allgood of Fort Valley, Georgia; a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 12:00 Noon from New Home Baptist Church with Rev. William Stamper and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A. M. Interment, Marsh Memorial Gardens in Noble Community.
