Obituary For Vera McAfee

MS. VERA MAE MCAFEE- Age 48, Of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center. She was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her mother, Floy LaJune Gay McAfee. Survivors are her four children, Sila J. Smith, Brandon Hinton, Sean Long, and Trina Smith, of Cartersville; father, William Thomas McAfee of Acworth, Georgia; sister, Josellen (Willie) Smith of Euharlee, Georgia; two brothers, Ray (Sandra) Gay of Indiana and Garrett Gay of Acworth; special sister, Serina Floyd of Cartersville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 1:00 P. M. at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 4255 Taylor Street, Acworth, Georgia, with Rev. Ronald Dexter Nesbitt, Pastor Dr. Frank Johnson, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment, Oak Hill Cemetery.
