MR. CLIFFORD LEE JOHNSON – AGE 91, - Of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Annie Mae Carter Johnson, parents, Ora Lee Pruitt Johnson, John L. Johnson, Sr., sister, Josephine Johnson Webb, brothers, Fred Johnson, John L. Johnson, Jr., and Lewis Johnson. Survivors are his loving family, nieces, Denise Johnson Maddox, Desiree Johnson, Godchildren, Phyllis Harris, Benjamin Weems; special cousins, McKinley (Elsie) Pruitt, Bonnie Banks, and Albert Weems; special niece, Dennis and Mae Anthony Perkins; brothers-in-law, Arthur Carter, all of Cartersville, Georgia, and John Carter of Atlanta, Georgia; caretaker, Trina Woodard; special thanks to Amedisys Hospice; other great nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 2:00 p. m. at Pine Grove Independent Church with Pastor Frank Johnson and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Interment, Oak Hill Cemetery.
