Obituary For Mary Parks

MRS. MARY ELIZABETH PARKS – Of Fayetteville, Georgia and formerly of Dalton, Georgia and Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She was a member of Mountain Ridge Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Marshall “Ben” Parks, Sr., three sons, Lewis Marshall “Red” Parks, Marvin Parks, Bobby Parks, and one sister, Willie Ruth White. She is survived by her loving son, Stephen (Sandra) Parks of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Kisha Parks, Stephanie Broadnox, Lewis Parks, and Thomas Parks; two great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Davis of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Esther Famber of Canton, Georgia, Vera Griffin, and Modestine (James) Brown of Mesa, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Debra Lynn Parks; sisters-in-law, Fleta Parks and Wilma Parks; brother-in-law, Reginald White of Chattanooga, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. at the Mountain Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 11:00 A. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
