Obituary For Billy Careathers

MR. BILLY CAREATHERS- Age 62, Of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Dennis (J. D.) and Esther Burse Careathers and brother, Benny Careathers. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Careathers of Atlanta, Georgia, and Billy Van Careathers of Miami, Florida; sister, Sandra (Ernest) Bailey of Madison, Georgia; brothers, Joseph Dennis Careathers of LaFayette and Minister Paul (Johnequia) Careathers of Chattanooga, Tennessee; uncles, J. L. (Flossie) Burse, James Burse of LaFayette, and Phillip (Bertha) Burse of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia; aunts, Bessie Morris, Mary Careathers of Chattanooga, and Gustavia Clemons of Kensington, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2013 at 1:00 P. M. at Cove Road Church of God with Minister Paul Careathers, Eulogist and Rev. Jerry L. Burse, Presiding. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 P. M. Interment, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11:30 a. m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
