Obituary For George Griffin

MR. GEORGE SAMUEL “HUB” GRIFFIN- Age 76, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014. He was a member of Mt. Ridge Baptist Church and was employed by Miller’s Brothers Rib Shack. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Griffin; six children, Randy (Keysia) Robbs, Vivian (Wilfred) Grier, Anitra Hamilton, Jeffrey Griffin, Corey Griffin, and Lalitta Macon; twelve grandchildren, Nikki, Michael, Candice, Dakota, Marquis, Maurice, Ramone, Devin, Jelisa, Jada, Rebecca, and Tiana; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Mable Parker, Beatrice Easley, and Imogene (Ray) Burse; one brother, William (Mary) Griffin; four brothers-in-law, Michael (Sharon) Whitener, Steve Whitener, Tim Whitener, and Timothy Whitener; four sisters-in-law, Patricia Hall, Eva Murray, Faye (James) Murray, and Ernestine Allen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday Evening from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
