Obituary For Alfred Hill, Sr.

MR. ALFRED HILL, SR. - AGE 94, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his residence. He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, veteran of the Korean War and World War II, and was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mae Love Hill, parents, Barney Hill, Sr. and Mary Alice Quinn, and brother, Barney Hill, Jr. He is survived by his children, Rosa Printup, Alfred (Mary) Hill, Jr., Allen (Maxine) Hill, William (Sue) Hill, Arthur Hill, Julia (Marcus) Macon, Helen Hall, Winfred (Brady) Hart, and four other children, Joyce Burse, Mary (Rickie) Burse, Clarissa (Kevin) Love, and Robert Love; sister, Annie Mae Hill; sister-in-law, Marie Love; special friend, Ann Milton, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Friday January 31, 2014 at 1:00 P. M. in the Chapel with Pastor Erma Raymond and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 11:00 A. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery with military rites.
