Obituary For Joe Edwards

MR. JOE LEWIS EDWARDS – Age 67, Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Gordon Hospital. He was a member of St. James Overcoming Church of God and was preceded in death by his parents, Hillmus Edwards, Sr. and Susie Mae Smith Edwards, and brother, William James Byrd. He is survived by four sisters, Dora Dean Bennett, Frances Edwards of Cartersville, Georgia, Mary Ann Bennett, and Barbara Bennett of Calhoun, Georgia; brothers, Hillmus (Mildred) Edwards, Jr., King Edwards, Leroy Edwards of Cartersville, and Jackie R. Edwards of Rockmart, Georgia; one uncle, Henry Lee Smith of Cartersville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1310 Old Alabama Road, S.E., Stilesboro, Georgia, with Bishop Nicky P. Starling and Rev.
