Macon, Georgia - Carson L. Brooks Sr., 73, departed this life Friday, October 11, 2024.

Services are 1 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2024, in the chapel of Hutchings Funeral Home.

Mr. Carson L. Brooks was born to the late Floyd Brooks and Ida Ruth (Brooks) Hordge on September 1, 1951 in Macon, GA.

Carson will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered by four daughters, Shikietha Braswell (Daniel), of Conyers, GA, Shameeka Brooks, of Addis, LA, Natika Brooks, of Prairieville, LA and Andrea Cooke, of Macon, GA; one son, Carson L. Brooks, Jr. (Michaela), of Fort Valley, GA; three brothers, Vernon K. Brooks, of Macon, GA, Alan S. Hordge (Karen), of Laurel, MS and Donald D. Hordge (Sheila), of Colonial Heights, VA; aunt, Erlene Gantt, of Gray, GA; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
