Obituary For Joe Taylor

SGT. JOE MARVIN “SONNY” TAYLOR – Age 83, Of Oceanside, California passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Oceanside. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Taylor, Sr. and Elquin Suttles Taylor, sisters, Daisy Johnson, Darline Kemp, and Eleanor Hagans, and one brother, Clifford Taylor, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Sophie Barton; brother, James Henry (Elder Odessa) Taylor; stepchildren, Terri Taylor, Stanley Taylor, and Deborah Humphrey; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A.M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery with Military Rites.
