Obituary For Janice Mays

MRS. JANICE LEE MACON MAYS – Age 77, Of Milledgeville, Georgia formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, April 7, 2014. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William Mays, parents, Georgia Mae Cunningham Bates and Floyd Macon and brothers, Melvin Jones and Joseph Jones. She is survived by her sister, Mary Catherine Buford of Dalton; brother, Vollie (LaChrisia) Macon of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Jones of Hampton, Georgia and Blanche Jones of New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 A. M. in the Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Scaife and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 7:00 P.
