Obituary For Fred O'Neal

MR. FRED LEE O’NEAL – Age 70, Of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was preceded in death by his mother, Lois O’Neal Covington. He is survived by wife, Carolyn J. Beck O’Neal of LaFayette; two sons, Marvin Clements of Chickamauga, Georgia and Kerry (Lisa) O’Neal of Dalton; twin brother, Frederick (Linda) O’Neal; stepchildren, Dorothy Beck, Pelam Beck, and Bernard Beck, all of Dalton; special cousin, Eddie O’Neal of LaFayette; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr., and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 12:00 Noon and at the church one hour before the service.
