Obituary For Richard Harlan

MR. RICHARD “SWEET DADDY” HARLAN - Age 61, Of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Gordon Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Langford Harlan and Myrtle Evans Harlan, sisters, Ruby Dell Simpson and Hilda Ann Harlan, and brother, Sonny Harlan. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Passley, Aresha Harlan of Calhoun, Georgia, and Thelma (Don) Harlan of Rome, Georgia; brother, Fred (Charmaine) Harlan of Calhoun; aunts, Linda McDaniel and A. Ruth King of Calhoun; one very dear friend for over 30 years, Shelia Wofford; special friend, Dianne Johnson of Calhoun; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The Service to Celebrate his life will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at First Corinth Christian Church, 728 Court Street, Calhoun, Georgia, with Bishop Claud Jones, Pastor James Harris, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment, Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
