Edith Mildred Johnson, 93 of Bowie, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30th, 2024.

A private burial will take place at a later date.

Edith was born April 2, 1931, in Bowie to Lonnie Archer and Myrtie Ann (Ingleburger) Pipkin. She was a lifelong resident of Bowie and worked as a hairdresser locally for 40 years. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Weldon Pipkin.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Carroll Ann Moore and husband Mike of Stoneburg, TX; brother Dee Pipkin and wife Carol of Granbury, TX; nieces, Delia Haynes and husband Don and Stacey Pipkin, all of Granbury, TX; and nephew Jeff Pipkin of Ennis, TX.
